Heart of a Hawk

Author Deborah Tainsh wrote her family's story in Heart of a Hawk: One family's sacrifice and journey toward healing following the death of her son Patrick to a roadside bomb in Iraq. The book's title was inspired by the recurring appearance of a red tail hawk, a symbol of healing in Native American folklore.
